She's Not Feeling Too Hot.

Under the weather boys and girls,

I've been able to dodge the sickness that everyone and my family has gotten for a while now, but I have finally come down with it. I have an icky blister from the guitar I am forced/threatened using kind words that really have the read-in-between-the-lines sort of meaning. Stupid General Music, for the kids who don't play instruments (if you consider your voicebox one) hmm..I wonder if they've ever considered that there might be a reason that we don't play an instrument. Now we're army-boot-camp guitarists. But the blister on my thumb keeps getting bigger, so let me tell ya it is hard to type. Because of the fat ol' blister, and I'm too much of a va-jay-jay to pop it. There's a chance I won't go to school tomorrow, darn, Language Arts presentation *cough, cough* or there will be a snow day! Yay!

Wow, today my stomach hurts like something fierce. I had 3 cinnamon rolls this morning. Ouchy. I have actually deadlined myself for outfit pics and DIY pics. Yes, Christmas/Kwanza/Hannukah time. Otherwise I'm grounding myself from my phone and text messaging because thats what I can't live without. Come Christmas Day I'm gonna break out the studs and needles and just have a DIY day.

Reflection.

I just realized the other day as I was reading Style Rookie's blog. No, people, I am not obsessed, her intelligent form of language and words makes me want to blow the dust of the ole' thinkin' cap.

And I came to a realization. People will tear you down. People don't like to see other people succeed. People can be envious and down right jealous. Mankind is a bitch. What I've been noticing is this, bloggers are attacking other bloggers.

I give you example A) Tavi is 12. Tavi is a 12 year old genius with a way of words and style. People tear her down becuase she is a childhood fashion genius. What the fudge?

People. come on. I think most people on this blog thing walk the halls of highschool or did a few years ago... Lets try to be mature, now. I'm sure we all atleast know the feel good comments.

I know that a pathetic plea from a nobody blogger isn't going to solve anything. Its just about as pointless as when I sent letters to the gossip magazines to give Britney a break. But I can as sure as fudge try.

Well...lets see here. The other day, well yesterday to be exact I found a semi-awesome Maxmara vintage skirt. Not sure whether to get it or not. I'll see if I can upload pics from my phoney later...
It was originally $375 and now reduced to $75 bucks and I'll probably offer twenty since its been there a while. I'm not sure if its worth getting..

Follow-Up

Third post today, usually I would go on in a rant about how I need to put everything all in one post but, not now. Because currently I am in a state of mere depression, not anything serious, just the oh-my-gosh-why-didnt-i-just-buy-them-when-i-saw-them-im-so-dumb-how-will-i-ever-forgive-myself sort of state.

So yes, I went back to the store looking for my jeans and well, they weren't there. Which isn't all too bad because I did leave with something, knowledge, here is what I sorted out on the car ride home... If you see something you cannot live without buy it. I do not mean everything. Something that you cannot find anywhere else and is superdy-duperdy-special. And if its something like $500.00 Christian Louboutins then, put them on layaway. I am not encouraging gluteny or anything I'm just implying it is okay to fall in love with a material object every once in a while.

Oh yes, it's true.

Two posts in a day. Oh, I'm bad. It's what a snow day can do to you. Thats right, I said "Snow Day" because I live in a place cold enough that I sware if our penguins escaped from the zoo, if we had one, that they would live on the frozen river, not even kidding here. Anyways its pretty regular for the below-zero winds to blow hard enough that they close our schools. Ickyy.

P.S. Has anyone seen this AMAZINGG 12 year old girl Tavi from Style Rookie. Wow. Makes me feel plain.

Golly, well! I really should get back to that store, unfortunately, its pretty popular with other people like myself, so I'm not sure they will be there when I get back. Lets cross our fingers! I'm heading that way this afternoon, so hopefully, my dad will drop me by there (the disadvantages of being 13) ughh... But I'm going to be optismistic because, they always have little treasures there! Vintage chanel purses for $20.00. I am seriously mad about letting that one get away...

*Sigh* The other day I was just mindlessly wandering downtown and breezed right into some secondhand store...because they had some pretty awesome mannequinns in the window (did I spell that right?!) Anwayss...there.they.were. The most fabulous Armani Exchange jeans you have ever seen. Imagine these Alexander Wang ones. with legs. Oh yeah and then I checked the size. Size 27. A little. Big. Crap. I think I may go back for them if my obsession eats me alive.Grrr..Besides there are such things as belts?
